Baked Garlic

 

As garlic roasts, it loses its harshness and becomes sweet and mellow.

Separate unskinned cloves and roast them in a small baking dish in a 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 min. or until the cloves feel soft when pricked with a fork.  The length of time will depend on the size of the cloves.  Cool briefly, then, squeeze the cloves out from the skins and spread them on a steak.
