Ingredients



2 lbs. lean flank steak

Marinade:
1 1/4 cups canned tomatoes, crushed
1 1/4 cups beef broth
3/4 cup dry red wine
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, finely sliced
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp. margarine
1 pkg. "3 pepper" sauce

Marinated Flank Steak



Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a glass dish.  Mix well.  Place the meat in the marinade and make sure is covered completely.

Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours, turning the meat 1 or 2 times.

Remove the meat from the marinade and dry with a paper towel.  Broil the meat on a hot plate in the oven for a few min. as desired.

Slice the meat thinly against the grain.  Can serve with green beans and almonds. 

Note: 
Save the marinade, reduce over med. high heat and serve as a sauce with you steak.
