1/4 cup butter, at room temperature

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the butter and garlic. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then each half into 4 long wedges. Place the wedges on a baking sheet. Brush with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese, salt and pepper. Bake 20 min. or until the potatoes are tender, turning several times. Serve drizzled with sour cream, if you like.
