Ingredients


4 trout, cleaned and gutted, (1/2 lb. each)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. margarine
4 tbsp. shelled almonds
Juice of 1 lemon
 
 

Almond Trout


Wash the trout.  Salt and pepper the interior.

Melt the margarine in a large microwavable dish, on High for 1 min.  Add the almonds and cook on High 1 min. more

Place the trout on a dish, taking care to keep them coated in margarine.  Sprinkle with lemon juice.  Cover with plastic wrap, perforated with a fork in 2 or 3 places.

Cook on High for 6 min. (or more), turning the plate once while cooking.
