In a bowl, stir the egg with green onions, garlic, seasonings, half the tomato sauce and bread crumbs. Work in half the meat, then remaining meat. Divide in half and shape each into an oblong loaf with rounded edges so there are no corners to overcook. Place loaves, side by side, in a 10" microwave safe pie plate, ensuring they don not touch one another or the sides of the pan. Microwave, uncovered, oh high for 4 min. Rotate the pie plate a quarter turn. Spoon remaining tomato sauce over top. Continue microwaving, uncovered, for 4 min. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand 4 min.
