1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. water

Start heating oven to 375 degrees.

Slice cookie roll in 1/4" slices, then place slices on baking sheet 2" apart.

Mix egg yolk and water, then divide mixture into 4 small dishes.

Mix a drop of food coloring in each dish, making each one a different color.

Paint designs on cookies with a small clean paintbrush.

Bake painted cookies in oven 8 to 10 min.
