Ingredients


5 1/2 lb. whole salmon, cleaned, head and skin removed
2 tbsp. sesame, peanut or vegetable oil
2 tbsp. soy or teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp. sesame seeds

Royal Sesame Salmon


Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Line a large baking sheet with foil.  Lightly brush the foil with a little oil.  Measure the fish at its thickest part to determine length of baking time.

Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry.  Place it on the baking sheet.  In a small bowl whisk together 2 tbsp. oil and soy sauce.  Brush salmon generously, inside and out, with the oil soy sauce mixture.  Then, sprinkle half of the sesame seeds in the cavity and over top.

Bake the salmon, uncovered, in the center of the oven until fish flakes easily with f fork at its thickest point.  Fish is baked 10 min for every inch of thickness.  If your salmon it 2" thick, bake for 20 min.
