Ingredients


1 soup bone
2 lbs. boiling beef
2 qts. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/4. tsp. pepper
4 potatoes
3 onions
2 cups cut celery
2 cups cut tomatoes
1 cup chopped cabbage
1 cup each, peas, beans, carrots
1/3 cup rice
2 tbsp. minced parsley

 Vegetable Soup


Add water, salt and pepper to soup bone and beef.
Bring to a boil and simmer tow to three hours.
Add vegetables and rice and  and hour half hour longer.
Just before serving add parsley.
