Ingredients

2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
2 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. sugar
1-9" baked pie shell

 Vanilla Custard

Add cream to milk and let come to a boil.
Beat egg yolks with sugar, flour, and 1/4 cup milk.
Pour hot milk over egg mixture and rerun to heat.
Stirring constantly, let boil on min.
Flavor with vanilla and cool.
When partially cool, pour into baked crust.
Top with meringue made by beating egg whites with sugar until it stands in peaks.
Brown in 325 degree oven for about 12 min.
