Ingredients


2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lbs. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal
3 eggs
2 cups milk
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

 Dutch Meat Loaf


Have the butcher grind together the three meats.
Beat the three eggs and add milk to them.
Soak the bread crumbs in this liquid for a bout 5 mins.
Mix together thoroughly the meat, crumbs, and seasonings.
Turn into a roasting pan and shape into a loaf.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

For company, the Dutch cook  often put several hard cooked eggs in the center of the meat loaf before it is baked.
