Ingredients



1 small can pineapple slices, round
1 small bottle maricino cherries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 white cake mix
3 tbsp. margarine

 Simple Pineapple Upside Down Cake



Prepare white cake mix as per instructions on package, set aside
In 8" square pan melt 3 tbsp. margarine.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar.
Place pineapple circles in pan.  (Total of 5.)
Place 1 cherry in the center of each.
Cover this with the cake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 min.
Immediately after removing cake from oven place a large plate over the top and turn upside down and remove pan.
