If you're calorie counting, substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef in spaghetti sauce, shepherd's pie or tourtiere.

When making meatballs or burgers with ground poultry, add extra flavor with light seasonings - fresh dill, a pinch of basil, poultry seasoning, tarragon, lemon pepper, ground cumin or coriander.  

A little light sour cream, salsa or Dijon mustard keeps them moist.
